De la Cruz has a myriad of skills pulling from her background and education in Art History, Exhibition Design, and Library and Information Science. For over a decade, de la Cruz has worked in museums, libraries and archives and as a result has cultivated a broad perspective on audience development, programming, collections management and marketing. As the Chief Archivist and Digital Collections Manager at the Clyfford Still Museum, de la Cruz has spearheaded the ground-up effort to create a new archive department and to organize and provide access to the Clyfford Still archives and digital collections.

Sigri holds a BFA in Photography from the University of Colorado – Denver, and has shown her artwork locally and nationally. She has worked for a variety of Cultural Non-Profits for the last 8 years including the Denver Film Society, Denver Art Museum and now Historic Denver. Over the years, Strand has cultivated a strong understanding of the nonprofit world and has functioned in a variety of administrative roles within nonprofits including visitor services, volunteer management, membership, development, event coordination and production, and marketing in both digital and print formats.
Kate Crowe
Board President
Curator of Special Collections and Archives at the University of Denver, Kate oversees the acquisition and curation of primary resource collections, permanent university records in all formats, and special and rare materials, as well as all discovery, exhibits, and services to users of primary resources. Kate’s research focuses on teaching and critical inquiry with primary sources, and on representation of people with marginalized identities in the historical record. Website:
Hannah Unsderfer
Hannah has a decade of experience working with digital collections and initiatives in a variety of settings. For nearly nine years, Hannah managed a digital resources center that served three art schools in metro Denver. She currently works with students and faculty at Regis University as an instructor and the digital collections librarian. Hannah is passionate about preserving cultural heritage and promoting visual literacy.
Ross Mansfield
Bringing a diverse skill set to the table, Ross has nearly a decade of experience in the mutual fund industry, over a decade in graphic, web, and user-experience design, and most recently was acting Director of Digital Marketing at the University of Denver. Currently he is completing a thesis for an MFA in the Emergent Digital Practices program at the University of Denver.
Jane Thaler
Marketing Coordinator

Currently a Project Archivist at the University of Colorado Boulder Libraries and LIS PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh, Jane graduated with her MLIS from the University of Denver and a BA in Art History from the University of Colorado Denver. Her research interests include alternative, ephemeral, and obsolete record keeping practices, histories of non-western archives, and preservation of complex media such as video games and multimedia artwork. Katie Taft
Board Member
Katie Taft has been making her life as an artist and educator in Denver since 2003. She studied Social Justice Issues and Visual Art at The Evergreen State College and Marylhurst University in the Pacific Northwest. Upon returning to Colorado she created an artist lecture/ discussion series which ran for several years,  and served on the board of the Colorado Photographic Arts Center. She has taught through a variety of community organizations such as DAVA, Think 360 and did a residency at PlatteForum in 2008. She currently works for Denver Public Schools as a visual arts classroom teacher.
Adam Speirs
Board Member
Adam has over a decade of experience as an information professional in archives and libraries and has worked in the digital archives space since 2011. He now works with Denver Water as a Records Management Analyst. Raised in Denver, he earned a BA in Literature from Metro State University of Denver and later obtained a M.L.I.S a from the University of Pittsburgh. Adam has served on the boards of Art from Ashes, Inc., a Denver arts non-profit serving at-risk youth, and the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists. He is excited to be working at the intersection of volunteerism, local arts, and community memory through archives with ARTHYVE.
Alexander Watkins
Board Member
Alex is an assistant professor and the art librarian at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research focuses on reducing information inequality and his teaching aims to help students enact inclusive research practices. He is an active member of the Art Libraries Society of North America as the past chair of the public policy committee, the current chair of the mountain west chapter, and a member of the LGBT special interest group.
